This Dibrugarh Girl’s Debut Bollywood Film is Releasing This Friday

Born on 11 June in Dibrugarh Assam, this girl quit engineering to pursue career in acting. She accumulated lots of love and appreciation from her fans while working the lead role of Bhoomi Patel in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apno Ki on Colors TV.

Her Name is Shamin Mannan and She is all set to take the big leap in Bollywood with her upcoming film, Love Shagun.

Shamin was born on 11 June in Dibrugarh Assam. While at college, she did several modelling assignments. After dropping out from the engineering college in Bangalore, she shifted to Mumbai.

She works in TV commercials First

After shifted to Mumbai, she worked in many TV commercials for famous brands like Dabur Gulabari Rose Water, Sony Ericson, Polycrol syrup, McDonalds etc.

She Debut on TV Serial with Zee TV

She got her first chance to act in a TV serial Banoo Main Teri Dulhann on Zee Tv. She was also seen in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg on Colors Tv and Santaan on Star Plus. She was appreciated for Colors TV’s Sanskaar – Dharohar Apno Ki as female lead character Bhoomi.

Her Debut Bollywood Flick Love Shagun

Love Shagun is an upcoming romantic comedy movie starring Anuj Sachdeva, Shamin Mannan, Nidhi Subbaiah, Vikram Kochhar, Manit Joura, Taran Bajaj and Simpy Singh. The film is scheduled to be released 26 February 2016. Shamin is playing the character of Shama in this film.
