Chandubi Lake is a natural lake Situated at a distance of 64 Km from the city of Guwahati Available through National Highway 37. The lake can be found at the foot of Garo hills surrounded by Assam and Meghalaya. The region is covered by heavy jungle and tiny villages. It’s a pure holiday and picnic place. You can spend 4 to 5 hours there.

The lake’s chief feature is the natural lagoon that has been formed in the lake. The lake offers fishing, and the administrators of the lake have provided facilities to go rowing in the lake waters. 2. Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the floodplains of River Brahmaputra in the district of Morigaon and about 45 km from Guwahati.

Pobitora initially was a grazing reserve for cows of erstwhile Nagaon district, which came to limelight throughout the calendar year 1961-62 for a sighting of Just One Horned Rhino (Rhinoceros unicornis). Throughout this time several rhinos strayed from Lawkhowa along with Orang Wild Life Sanctuaries and slowly became resident. Two these grazing reservations containing 38.83 square km was announced as reserve forests in 1971. 5. Umiam Lake
