Ebegetiya – A Folk Story From Assam – Animated Short Film

Directed by Neeraj Suji Ebegetiya is an Assamese animated short film.

Ebegetiya maybe small in size, but he is extremely street-smart and witty and uses his intelligence to get his work done. He gets into a confrontation with the Kingdom’s ruthless ruler. Ebegetiya outsmarts the malicious but stupid king and frees the kingdom from his reign. Based on a famous Assamese folk tale, ‘Ebegetiya’ teaches a lesson that intelligence always wins over size.
