Ok! You might have noticed the headline.. and yes here he is.. his name is Boloram Das.

Born and brought up in Guwahati Boloram Das is a promising alumnus of the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD) and today Boloram is making his mark in mainstream Hindi films and TV.

1. The Interest Towards Acting

In 2004, he was in the final year of Bsc in Biochemistry in B Borooah College when he had gone to watch a play titled Uska Bachpan in Rabindra Bhawan by the NSD Repertory Company which really made him more curious about National School of Drama (NSD). And later he applied and got through the NSD entrance in 2006.

2. The Journey after NSD

Boloram completed his PG in Acting in 2009 from NSD and then he joined the NSD repertory company in 2010. Later he selected for a stage show named Zangoora – the biggest Bollywood stage show in the high-profile entertainment set up Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. Boloram has performed 800 shows in the span of 2 years.

3. The Hollywood and Bollywood

He has featured in a Hollywood film called The Black Russian which was released in the USA in 2012 but is yet to hit the screens in India. He has also been seen playing an essential role in the 2014 Indian movie Badlapur Boys.

4. Sharing Screen Space with Big B in a TV Commercial

He has done many TV ad films and have also featured in illustrious TV shows like Crime Patrol and Yudh directed by Anurag Kashyap. Boloram had the opportunity to share screen space with none other than Amitabh Bachchan for a Parle Goldstar Biscuit ad.

5. His first Assamese Film – Antareen

Directed by Monijul Baruah Antareen is his first Assamese film where he is playing a very important role. This film may release by the end of this year.
