Meet The Arunachal Boy in The Bollywood Film Baaghi

Thutan Gombu, an Arunachalee boy has made his entry into Bollywood. Hailing from Namazing village under Jang circle in Tawang district, Gombu has made his first appearance in a Hindi film titled Baaghi starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor.

He has been cast as the younger brother of the villain’s main henchman in the movie. Gombu’s character owns a fight club in ‪‎Bangkok‬, and he is seen executing stunts, chasing the male protagonist in the busy streets of Bangkok.

His Story

Gombu, who did his schooling from Govt Sec School Jang and Govt Hr Sec School Tawang, moved to Kolkata for further studies where he did his hospitality management as well as in-flight service courses. After completion of these, he moved to Delhi from where he started his career as a Manager in a restaurant. After couple of months, he moved to Dubai with a bigger job. While he was working in Dubai, he started looking for his goal and passion for films since the childhood. Fortunately, he got the first chance to show his skills as a model to promote the international Car brand Nissan and he did very well.

After that confidence level shot up and he kept trying and got more offers for some short movies, music album etc. Following this he decided to move back to India to try his hands in Bollywood. And he came down to Mumbai in December 2015. Without any idea about the tinsel town and support, it was a very big challenge for him. However, he moved on towards his goal with the blessings of almighty and love of his family.

He will be seen in Hollywood Too

Gombu will be seen on an Hollywood film titled “S-Cam” soon.
