Delhi based folk rock band Ojapali, which is one of the top bands on Reverbnation Folk Chart has released first single “Hiyar Maje” from their upcoming album.
Ojapali is a collaboration between duo Bhargav Das – a folk Singer, and Dhon Rongpi – a guitarist.The duo started recreating Loka geet or Assamese folk songs during their time studying music production and has since then also started producing original pieces.

Bhargava is a trained Indian classical singer and producer.His introduction to music started early, at the tender age of 3 – directly learning the art of singing from his father,also a singer.
His musical style is a reflection of the country’s vibes- the Indian people, the colours, fragrances, food and dialects spoken across India.
Bhargava is a certified sound engineer,having graduated from Sri Aurobindo Center for the Arts and Communication .
Dhon’s journey in music started with group guitar lessons as a teenager. Midway through engineering college, a vivid interest in recording and producing original music ensued.
With time,tonality became extremely important to Dhon- as he began to learn what effect different gear can have on both the playing style, as well as the sound of an artist.
He dropped out of college, and enrolled in Sri Aurobindo Center for Arts and Communication,where he met Bhargav.
Rahul is a freelance drum instructor who has previously played with bands such as Orange Street and Big Bang Blues.He has been playing professionally for over a decade, and has performed all over India.
Vibhas is a percussionist who is equally at home with the tabla, as he is with the cajon or the djembe & Darboga.He also composes music and can pitch in on backing vocals.
