An Assamese girl Karishma Baruah will be seen as a lead heroine in an upcoming trilingual south Indian suspense thriller film. Written and directed by Raadha, the title of this film is Khanana in Kanada, Khananam in Telugu and Dhaganam in Tamil.
Born and raised in Doom-Dooma, Assam, Karishma Baruah who has been living in Bengaluru for the last three years said she is lucky to be working in a movie as an actor.
The film is produced by S Srinivas and has his son Sushant being introduced as the hero in this film. Debutant director Radha said the film will be shot in Kerala and overseas over a 45-day schedule. He said the film has been scripted after conducting an extensive study all over south to find out what the current generation wants from their lives.
