Written and directed by Biswajeet Bora, the trailer of Assamese film “Phehujali” has been released. Phehujali is inspired from real life events that reflects ‘HOPE’ to be the ultimate realization to lead a better life.
The film Phehujali is a dark tragedy depicts the travails of an elderly woman stricken with Alzheimer’s, and the toll it takes on the lives of near and dear ones. Desolated by their own children, it’s her husband who acts as her caretaker, providing unconditional help and support, while trying to cope with a strange but painful situation, even as her condition steadily deteriorates. The situation somehow gets manipulated after the entry of two adolescents, who brings some joy to their lives and the world around them.
This film will be released on this October only at Anuradha Cinema, Guwahati.
The cast includes artists of Assamese Mobile Theatre like Suren Mahanta, Moni Borah, and Baharul Islam among others. Two Child artists Rodali Bora and Tridip Saikia have also shown their excellent performances in this film. Cinematographer of the film is Titu Jena, who has worked for films like Ramaiya Vastavaiya and many ads.
