Early Life
Deeplina was born in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati. At the age of two, she shifted to Jagiroad, where she did her schooling from Jyotiniwas English Catholic School and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagiroad. After completing her schooling, she moved back to Guwahati to pursue higher secondary from Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri.
She is a Badminton Champion
As a student, Deeplina was very bright in school. Not only she was good at studies but very active in sports. During her school, she represented her school Kendriya Vidyalaya for 3 consecutive years in the regional sports meet. She came fourth in national level Badminton competition in 2007.
Deeplina’s College Life
Deeplina pursued Electrical engineering from GIMT, Guwahati. She was regularly active in singing, dancing and dramatics competition in Colege.
This multi-talented girl is also a trained Kathak dancer and holds a Visharad degree in classical music.
Her First Solo Track Nuari Nuari
Deeplina composed her first solo track in 2012 but made her debut in the Assamese entertainment industry in 2015 with “Nuari Nuari.”
Mission China and Entry to Assamese Films
Just after the launch of her debut song she got called up to audition for Zubeen Garg’s Mission China.
As an actor, Deeplina Deka debuted in Mission China where her role in the film was widely appreciated. “Working alongside Zubeen Garg was the experience of a lifetime, and I’m going to cherish the memories forever.” She said in an interview.
She will be seen in Chandra Mudoi next.
